The role

As a result of recent strong deal flow, we are searching for a senior lawyer with corporate transactional experience to work alongside our corporate deal team. While predominately focussed on M&A, the role will also provide the right candidate with exposure to a wide range of corporate law matters, such as capital-raising, joint ventures, corporate governance and FIRB.

Requirements

We are looking for an associate level or above lawyer with a minimum of four years post-admission experience in M&A or other corporate transactional law areas. Specifically, we are looking for a corporate lawyer possessing the following attributes:

• commercial nous
• contract drafting skills
• experience in negotiation
• independent thinker
• a positive and hard-working nature.

You will also have a willingness to work as part of a small team of experienced lawyers who enjoy challenging the status quo in terms of how M&A law is practised.

For this role, we will only be considering applications from those who are admitted to practice law in Australia.
